who is this guy and what makes him think he can tell me what to do?
Born in Milton Keynes, I started out my movement journey early by being thrown around thousands of roundabouts. Thereafter I picked up martial arts; being trained by Lawrence Elcock in Shotokan Karate and achieving 2nd Dan Black Belt at 16yo. I also taught Shotokan Karate to 3-5yo children (a.k.a. "Tiny Tigers); to this day this remains the hardest job I ever had.
I went on to read Experimental Psychology at the University of Oxford, where I swapped the Karate Gi for a rowing lycra. I continued endurance sports throughout the beginnings of my career (triathlons, London Marathon, endurance cycling etc) but accidentally found yoga in 2016 on a holiday to Thailand. I immediately threw away all the Garmin chest straps and replaced them with malas. I haven't stopped since, amassing c. 500 hours of teacher training across mixed modalities.
My corporate life has been supported by a bedrock of regular yoga practice, which has been instrumental in providing the stamina and level-headedness to succeed. My teaching aims to share the practices I have picked up along the way from my teachers, in the hope they help you as much as they've helped me.
what to expect
4Beat Yoga
The 4Beat practice, and its creator Marcus Veda, have been a core part of my life since 2017. 4Beat is a dynamic vinyasa flow class created by Marcus and born out of the Rocket Yoga system. The core of the practice is the alignment of the breath to the slow, regular beat of the music. Focusing the mind and the breath on a 4 beat count leads to a sharp, single-pointed and unwavering ability to concentrate. You will find yourself completely immersed in a state of synchronous moving meditation.
Sound Healing
A restorative meditation practice aimed at delving underneath the surface level conscious chatter and enable deep rest.
Beginning with breathwork to ground, transitioning into guided meditation supported by the sound of crystal singing bowls.
Sound Healing Massage
A unique massage & meditation experience guided by two practitioners. All aspects tailored to your preferences during initial consultation.
Beginning with breathwork & reflexology, transitioning into a full body intuitive massage supported by a guided crystal bowl meditation. During the massage, a large 7-metal bowl is applied directly to the body and struck to ground the body & quiet the mind.

what is Citta Vritti and how do I still it?
Citta (चित्त) means consciousness or mind-stuff, while Vritti (वृत्ति) translates to whirlpool or wave. Through yoga we calm the waves, and are able to observe the calm which is always there underneath the noise.
